Terry VaughnTerry Vaughn has over forty years of nuclear safety, radiological, and safety experience with nuclear facility operations.  He has experience managing numerous site radiological control and industrial safety programs, including nuclear and criticality safety, quality systems, fire protection, integrated safety management, and security programs.

Mr. Vaughn has an M.S. in Radiological Health Physics, a B.S. in Engineering Technology, and an A.S. in Radiation & Nuclear Technology.  He is a Certified Health Physicist (Emeritus).

Sustainable Results

Since 2022, Mr. Vaughn has been providing support to ISMSinc contracts in the area of nuclear safety.

Previously, Mr. Vaughn supported transition activities as the nuclear safety representative for the incoming Idaho Environmental Coalition and in the areas of nuclear safety, fire protection, and engineering for transition activities for the Hanford 222S laboratory.

He served as a senior advisor to the CH2MHILL Plateau Remediation Company in Richland, WA, providing direct support to the President/CEO of CH2MHILL Plateau Remediation Company with regard to special projects, regulatory affairs, contractual support, and project technical issues. Mr Vaughn also served in various positions supporting the Safety, Health, Security, & Quality (SHS&Q) for CH2MHill Plateau Remediation Company including as Vice President. In this capacity, he managed central SHS&Q programs with project interface in the areas of nuclear and criticality safety, quality and performance assurance, fire protection, safety analysis, emergency preparedness, radiological control, industrial hygiene, integrated safety management, work control, and safeguards & security.
